Volunteers at Lands End

Amy Chong

When: Saturday November 7th from 10:30am-12:30pm. Space is limited for this activity, but all are welcome to join for the larger celebration of Diwali and Dia de los Muertos happening at the Crissy Field Center!

Where: Presidio of San Francisco. Specific meeting location will be listed in the registration confirmation email. Registration is required.

Join us to plant and remember as we care for a native tidal marsh in the Presidio of San Francisco, a special place where freshwater meets saltwater and the land changes with the tides. There will be a brief talk about the significance of planting as remembrance at 10:45 AM and the rest of the morning will be open planting time.

Accessibility: We will be walking mostly on flat or gently sloping ground to reach the planting site. Planting will mostly be done while kneeling (we will provide knee pads), although we will also bring shovels for those who prefer to stand. Restrooms and seating are a 5 minute walk away. Please reach out to Amy with any questions or accessibility requests:  npubat@cnexfpbafreinapl.betgro.ycnavresnocskrap@gnohca
