To help maintain the long-term health and preservation of Mount Tamalpais (Mt. Tam), the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative (TLC), has launched OneTam, an initiative to raise awareness and build community support around efforts to care for the mountain’s treasured resources.

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy today announced plans for a transition in its executive leadership in the coming year. Greg Moore, founder and longtime leader of this nonprofit conservation organization, will be stepping down as President & CEO and transitioning to a new role as Special Projects Advisor. His transition is planned for early 2019. The Parks Conservancy’s Board of Trustees has launched a search for Moore’s successor.

Next spring (May 2013-May 2014), the SFMOMA in partnership with the National Park Service and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy will present a major outdoor exhibition of sculptor Mark di Suvero’s works near the Golden Gate Bridge.
