Mori Point
Paul Myers/Parks Conservancy
At the west end of the Old Mori Road Trail, you'll come to Mori Point's famous Bootlegger's Steps. Although the steep staircase looks daunting, take a deep breath and charge (or chug) up the bluff to the Mori Headlands Trail, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Pacific, Pacifica, and the glorious California coastline. You'll also have a great view of the cliffs where the car crash scene from the cult classic "Harold and Maude" was filmed.
The cliffs are notoriously crumbly, though, so be careful and stay clear of the perilous edges.
