Major Project at Redwood Creek Restores a Fragile and Important Ecosystem in Marin

The Redwood Creek Restoration Project at Muir Beach will continue this summer and fall, making the creek a functional, self-sustaining ecosystem once again by realigning the creek; restoring wetlands, an intermittent tidal lagoon, and dunes; and also creating and maintaining habitat for sustainable populations of the endangered coho salmon and threatened steelhead trout.

Lands End Improvements Advance With New Major Gift

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy has received a new $5 million grant from the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund to support restoration efforts at Lands End—bringing the Fund’s total support of the Lands End project to $8.6 million.
