Week 2 (Sunday, July 12, 2026) — Climate Change & Climate Symptoms: Local Experiences 

At the Library 
Zoom in on San Francisco and the Bay Area: What environmental changes are happening here? Participants will learn about local climate symptoms, connect them to lived experiences, and deepen community awareness of place-based impacts. 

Details & Logistics 

• Location: San Francisco Public Library – Main Branch (Weeks 1–3)
  • Stegner Environment Center on the 5th Floor
• Duration: 2 hours per session (Field trip time varies)
• Materials: Art materials provided; feel free to bring personal journals
• Accessibility: All are welcome. Accommodations are available upon request.
