Coyote Moon Hike
Join us on a fairly strenuous 6 mi. ridge-top hike to enjoy a postcard Pacific sunset, listen for coyotes, and then witness a spectacular full moon rise over the Bay. We’ll make several stops along the way to learn more about coyotes, including an overview of a research project conducted within the Marin Headlands. Three hours.
This is a three hour, six-mile hike. Dress in warm layers and bring a flashlight, water, and snack. The hike is family friendly but the trail does have steep portions. Meet at Tennessee Valley trailhead. Rain cancels. Reservations required, please call the Marin Headlands Visitor Center at (415) 331-1540. Max 20 participants.
