“Count Me In” Alcatraz BEYOND the Behind the Scenes Tour - $1,500 per person

Views of the medical ward at Alcatraz Island

Expert historians from the Conservancy’s famed Alcatraz Night Tour program will lead the group through eerie spots that only original prison staff ventured into, including the cell house rooftop and the morgue. Take in views from the top of the historic lighthouse, which replaced the original lighthouse in 1909, to be tall enough to shine over the new cellhouse. Open and unfiltered discussions about island history and contemporary topics will be encouraged. Minimum age 12 to participate. Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025. (Photos: Courtesy of Sean Kelly - lighthouse / Dennise Abad - hallway)
