National Public Lands Day at Crissy Field
Golden Gate Historic Landscaping and Maintenance
Help us maintain your parklands on National Public Lands Day – the nation's largest volunteer effort for public lands! Maintenance volunteers help protect and beautify the historic landscapes and cultural resources throughout the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Join us this National Public Lands Day by brushing back vegetation to keep the important pedestrian and bike routes along Crissy Field open and safe to recreators. Work with park staff in the beautiful Crissy Field Area where we will also learn about the transition of historic Crissy Airfield to the park we know and love today.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026, 10am - 1pm.
Where: Crissy Field East Beach. Registration Required.
