We LOVE being in Muir Woods. How about you?
During the rainy winter season is when some of the most important restoration work is completed, and when the need for volunteers is greatest. Together, we will work to improve trails, care for natural landscapes, and improve habitat for the plants, birds, and other wildlife. The projects provide a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning and many opportunities are family-friendly and open to volunteers of all ages. Bring just yourself, your family, friends, or ask us about how to sign up a group.
This is a rain or shine event. Please dress appropriately! Coffee, hot cocoa, and light refreshments provided. Check out the Redwood Renewal page for more information related to ongoing projects in Muir Woods. Carpooling, biking, hiking, or taking the Muir Woods shuttle is highly encouraged.
