Storytime with a Ranger for National Read a Book Day

Come join Muir Woods Rangers on a special, children and family focused program to celebrate National Read a Book Day. This unique event brings together nature and storytelling in a fun filled exploration of the redwood forest. Rangers will lead you on a gentle, guided walk through Muir Woods.  

As we explore the lush forest landscape (and keep our eyes out for forest friends like banana slugs!), we will be making several stops where a ranger will read segments from a nature themed storybook. This special walking story time blends adventure and learning in the beauty of Muir Woods National Monument.
