Movement, Letting Go, Water Element

At this program, we will be guided by the flow of water element and a native water-loving plant, the arroyo willow, and its lessons in rest and movement, presence and letting go. We will also be drinking herbal teas, bringing water element + plant medicine into our bodies, learning about the properties of chamomile, hibiscus, yerba buena, and rosemary. We'll also be caring for the native plants on this land and learning about the ways willow + water can support growth of other plants. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring layers.

Accessibility details: This event is fully outdoors, so masks will be optional, but please tune into the others around you and mask up when approaching anyone else wearing a mask. We plan to walk one mile on terrain that is mostly flat to gentle incline, with a short stretch of a moderate incline. Some stewardship tasks involve bending and squatting, but can be modified. We are very committed to being in conversation with community to make these programs as accessible as possible — please reach out with any accessibility needs!

Please contact community@parksconservancy.org with any accessibility needs or questions. All community members are welcome at this event.
