Youth Connecting Youth to Their National Park

Share

Getting ready for its second year, Backyard Bound is a youth-led summit consisting of workshops, outdoor experiences, and discussions centered on connecting youth to their environment.

The Center’s Inspiring Young Emerging Leaders (I-YEL) program takes the lead for this two day, overnight event held at the Rob Hill Campground in the Presidio.

With almost a dozen organizations and over 100 students signed up to participate, this year is sure to be a catalyst to get youth connected—not only to the outdoors but to organizations in their communities that promote environmental and social justice topics.
