The Institute at the Golden Gate takes its message to “connect, collaborate, inspire and act” to the national stage next week as a cross-sector coalition of physicians, environmentalists, park managers, health insurers, government officials and youth leaders gather in Chicago to advance the growing Park Prescriptions movement.

Turning the Tide returns to Fort Baker April 14-16, 2010, to explore creative solutions to global sustainability issues.

The project presents a nature-based approach to responding to sea level rise and climate change at Bothin Marsh Open Space Preserve and the Mill Valley-Sausalito Pathway, part of the Bay Trail, one of Marin County Parks’ most visited park units and the most vulnerable to sea level rise.
