Join the Nature Journal Club for a 1.5 hour workshop to round out our exploration of mammal anatomy, structure, and drawing techniques. This will be a fun draw along lecture so bring your sketchbook and pencil.

Stephen Andrews (UC Berkeley Professor, specializing in soils) will lead this class in learning the important physical properties of soil!

Stemming from the Mt. Tam Science Summit held last fall, Marin Municipal Water District and San Francisco State University have begun inventorying pollinators, primarily bees. This is the first time this part of Marin has ever been surveyed for pollinators. Join us to learn how to collect, clean and prepare specimens. Ages 13 and up. RSVP required as space is limited.

In the third class in the soil series, join the very knowledgeable Stephen Andrews (UC Berkeley Professor, specializing in soils) for a hands-on class to discover how the chemical reactions of soil clean our air, clean our water, and make nutrients available to plants. You'll understand chemistry like never before!

The nursery series kicks off the year with a discussion on how to prepare for the growing season! This class is designed for our nursery and field interns, but anyone interested in Nursery Management is welcome!

During this event, we will teach you about the Wildlife Picture Index (WPI) and you will participate in the cataloging and identification of wildlife. By working in this group setting, an electric environment is created as people discover the many different beautiful and amazing wildlife that has been captured on these cameras. This session will be hosted by Marin County Parks, a member of the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative.

Sharon Farrell (Vice President of Stewardship and Conservation), will lead a discussion on past and present restoration projects in the Golden Gate National Parks.
