Are you a school teacher who would like to lead nature journal activities in your classroom? Perhaps you are a home school parent who would like to extend and enrich your current journaling activities. In this workshop we explore the pedagogy and logistics of leading nature journaling activities and bringing students outdoors.

Dune ecosystems support an incredible variety of fauna and flora and the park has some amazing examples! Michael ChassМ© will lead this class in learning the basics of dune ecology followed by a walking tour of the dunes in the Presidio!

During this event, we will teach you about the Wildlife Picture Index (WPI) and you will participate in the cataloging and identification of wildlife.

By working in this group setting, an electric environment is created as people discover the many different beautiful and amazing wildlife that has been captured on these cameras. This session will be hosted by Marin Municipal Water District, a member of the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative.
