Please join Marin Water and Marin County Parks for our annual Bald Hill Broom Bust! Volunteers will focus on containing the spread of French and Scotch broom monocultures and also eradicate pioneer patches. Volunteers could start at Deer Park and hike, bike or carpool to the top of the hill at Sky Ranch Open Space. Visit our Google Map for more information and directions.
This family-friendly activity is suitable for ages 8 and up, with parental supervision required for volunteers under 16. Tools, gloves, water and LUNCH will be provided. Please dress for variable weather, wear close-toed shoes with ankle support, and bring a water bottle.

- This is a One Tam Partnership event.
- Registration is encouraged, but not required, unless you are part of a group of 10 or more. RSVP here.
- This family-friendly activity is suitable for ages 8 and up with parental supervision required for volunteers under 16.
- All first time volunteers must sign Marin Water Volunteer Service Agreement, and all volunteers under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian.
- Parking passes, tools, gloves, snacks, and water wil be provided to volunteers.
