Please join your member community for a night under the stars! On Friday, April 24th, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, come share stories by the campfire and gaze through the telescopes provided by Astro Everywhere to see into the sky above! Smores will be provided, so come ready for a treat! Check in at the Presidio Visitor Center before 6:00 pm to collect your special Membership Sticker and kick off the Member Discount Shopping Weekend with 20% off at all retail locations! This event is family friendly.
Josh Roberts has been connecting people to their sky for more than a decade. He teaches classes on general astronomy, telescope maintenance, and how to understand science for anyone interested. His experience spans Bay Area scientific institutions, including the California Academy of Sciences, NASA's Ames Research Center, and colleges and universities. Amateur Astronomy was his first focus, and still his absolute favorite way to connect to the sky. Bring your telescopes and binoculars (in any condition!) and we will look for some special celestial objects like Jupiter, Venus and the Moon!
