Help us search for fast-spreading weeds while learning some tricks of the trade! One Tam will give a training on how to search for, remove, and use a smartphone to map some of the most problematic weeds in Marin.  We will also teach you some simple ways to prevent the spread of weeds and plant diseases.  Our training will be followed by a survey and weed removal hike. No experience is necessary! All materials, tools, snacks, and water will be provided. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, sun protection, shoes suitable for hiking, and bring a water bottle.
Recommended for ages 13 and up; participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is required.

Meeting Location: Dias Ridge Trailhead on Panoramic Highway. Roadside parking is available. Please use extreme caution when crossing or walking along the road! (Google map)
