The health and safety of our members, park visitors, program participants, volunteers, interns, and staff is our top priority. Due to the "shelter in place" orders announced for the six Bay Area counties through at least May 3, 2020, we will be canceling the rest of our member events for the spring season. Please continue to check our website for updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our membership line at 415-561-3060, or email us at membership@parksconservancy.org .

Fort Baker is at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, yet a world away from urban life! Join Park Ranger Emeritus and historian John Martini on an exploration of this historic military site in Sausalito. We’ll visit the renovated barracks and officers’ quarters (now part of Cavallo Point Lodge), the waterfront where the “army’s navy” was moored during World War II, and, by special permission, the 1870s brick tunnels of Battery Cavallo. Along the way, we’ll see spectacular views of the Bridge that few people ever see.

Registration opens March 21.
