Beach Volunteering

Cleanup, Maintain, and Restore Beaches

Carry the spirit of California Coastal Cleanup Day all year long. Help keep our beaches beautiful, clean, and safe for all of us to enjoy. Activities focus on the removal of human-made debris from the coastline of the Golden Gate National Parks.

Did you know that 80% of marine debris some from land-based sources? That means from us, our daily activities and our waste.

Conserve and BYO – Bring Your Own bag or bucket, gloves, and water bottle if you have them.

Check out our upcoming programs.

The Golden Gate National Parks Volunteer Program is a cooperative parkwide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust.
