Our Work
The Parks Conservancy nurseries are hubs of community and education programming. We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for youth to explore their connection with nature.

Stories
Established in 1987, the Tennessee Valley Nursery closed its nearly 30-year run in May 2016. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, the facility produced thousands of plants for habitat restoration sites all across the parks.

When: Wednesdays (commitment required) and one Saturday per month | Where: Presidio Nursery | Learn to grow and care for native plants from seed, while helping to preserve and restore your national park.

Our Work
You’ll get to do hands-on restoration at three park sites: the Oceana Native Plant Nursery, Milagra Ridge, and Mori Point. Restoration activities include planting, transplanting, pot washing, removing invasive plants, and much more.
