Our Nursery Series continues with a discussion with our pros on how to prepare for the growing season! This class is designed for our nursery and field interns, but anyone interested in Nursery Management is welcome!

Meghan Steinharter (Fort Funston and Oceana Nurseries Manager) and Robin Binaoro (Marin Headlands Nursery Seed Ecologist) will lead this class in the art of rooting plants from cuttings.

Led by Doc Miles, a professional photographer and one of our talented park volunteer photographers, this class will help you get the most out of your phone camera (specifically iPhone camera).

This day-long course is co-hosted/sponsored by the Conservancy's Alcatraz Gardens program and will begin with a tour of the historic gardens with manager Shelagh Fritz to gain inspiration for you to create your own mosaic. With ideas in mind, local artist Kristi Halva will walk through the steps of creating a beautiful piece of art of your own.

Brian Hildebidle (Presidio Trust; Supervisory Natural Resources Management Specialist) will lead this all-day field workshop on the different techniques involved in using willows for restoring riparian zones.
