Come work alongside female-identifying NPS Trail Crew folks on the Coastal Trail in the Marin Headlands as we work hard to improve the drainage on the trail. All female-identifying, non-binary, gender-nonconforming individuals are welcome to join this safe (and gorgeous!) space.
Thank you to the Extreme Terrain team for donating funds for our special Women's Trail Day program! We are grateful for their Clean Trail Grant, and are proud to use these funds to fuel our volunteers and to move forward with our trail improvements.
When: Saturday, November 9th; 9am-12pm
Meeting Location: Meet at the Gerbode Valley Trailhead Parking Lot off Smith Road (Smith Road and Bunker Road)
Ages 12 and up; Volunteers under the age of 15 need parent/guardian supervision. Read our Youth Policy Guidelines (PDF).
Bring your completed Volunteer Agreement Form (PDF). Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.
Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary.
Bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.
No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Fulfills community service requirements.
