• Walking the California Coastal Trail and the Batteries to Bluffs Trail in the Presidio.
• Hiking the Dipsea Trail, the Steep Ravine Trail, the Stapelveldt Trail, the Ben Johnson Trail, and the Bootjack Trail in Marin County.
• Camping at Hawk Camp in Tennessee Valley.
• Surveying endangered Mission blue butterflies and silver lupine along the Milagra Ridge Trail in Milagra Ridge.
