This walk will focus on sharing general knowledge of sand dune environments and the local plants and animals that live in them, the environmental services they provide, as well as how we at the Conservancy manage and maintain these areas.

Join us and Mike Swezy, MMWD Watershed Resources Manager, for a hike at Phoenix Lake and the historic log cabin. The site is a scenic gem with great birdwatching, and the hike is less than a mile each way.
