Trail Crew: Project Restore

Come join hikers, cyclists, and equestrians to restore trailside habitat along the much beloved Gravity Car Fire Road and at Double Bow Knot. Old Railroad Grade is one of the most popular routes on Mt. Tamalpais and it is beginning to show some wear and tear. MMWD is partnering with One Tam to help improve environmental conditions adjacent to the Grade. This event is suitable for ages 13 and up. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All those under 18 must bring a signed MMWD permission form. Limit 40 volunteers.

We Need Your Voice on Earth Day! Epic Sing-Along for West Peak Music Video at Mt. Tam - Hosted by Filmmaker Gary Yost

Come join us at West Peak, the true summit of Mt. Tam, on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, 2:30-5pm for an epic sing-along that will be the climax in a new video directed by local filmmaker Gary Yost to help support the launch of the effort to restore the site of the old Air Force Station. We'll be singing the chorus of the song "The Way It's Supposed to Be" written expressly for the restoration effort by Dore Coller of Mill Valley.
