Immigrant Yarn Project is presented at Fort Point by Enactivist in partnership with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy through the Art in the Parks program.

Stroll through an old-growth redwood forest at sunrise, hear tall tales, soar in the sounds and smells, and hear the historical and ecological story of Muir Woods.

Our Nursery Series continues with a discussion with our pros on how to prepare for the growing season! This class is designed for our nursery and field interns, but anyone interested in Nursery Management is welcome!

Meghan Steinharter (Fort Funston and Oceana Nurseries Manager) and Robin Binaoro (Marin Headlands Nursery Seed Ecologist) will lead this class in the art of rooting plants from cuttings.
