Bridge overlook off the Battery East Trail
Paul Myers
One of the signature trail improvement projects of the Parks Conservancy, the multi-use Battery East Trail features eye-popping views of the soaring towers of the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as an overlook/seating area to admire the span and San Francisco Bay. Snap selfies to your heart's content, but please be aware that this pathway is heavily used by visitors on bicycle--stay alert and share the trail! Also, don't forget to continue on to the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, where your purchase of its one-of-a-kind souvenirs will help support these parks.
