We’ve got something for just about everyone—from beach cleanups, to historic site and habitat restoration, plant nurseries, landscaping, and trail work. No experience or commitment necessary. We provide all of the tools, training, and leadership. We just need you, your willingness to pitch in, and a bit of your time.

Cleanup, Maintain, and Restore Beaches
Carry the spirit of California Coastal Cleanup Day all year long. Help keep our beaches beautiful, clean, and safe for all of us to enjoy. Activities focus on the removal of human-made debris from the coastline of the Golden Gate National Parks.
Restore and Monitor Critical Habitat
Help restore and monitor critical natural areas and create wildlife corridors for threatened and endangered species. Activities include invasive plant removal, winter planting, litter removal, seed collection, fence construction, trail maintenance, and plant monitoring.
Revitalize and Steward Historic Gardens
Help cultivate and restore the park’s beautiful historic gardens. Activities include weeding, pruning, and planting.
Preserve Historic Structures and Cultural Landscapes
Help preserve and enhance beautiful landscapes and maintain historic buildings and grounds. Activities include mulching, re-seeding, weeding, pruning, winter planting, litter removal, painting, and groundskeeping.
Repair and Construct Trails
Help create a world-class trail system for our community to enjoy today and for years to come. Activities include repairing and maintaining trails, constructing new routes, and protecting sensitive natural habitat.
