Come get your hands dirty! Students will learn what it takes to grow plants for ecological restoration by participating in nursery activities. Plants grown at the nursery will be used to restore habitat throughout the Golden Gate National Parks. In addition to touring the nursery, seasonal activities may include transplanting, pruning, seed cleaning, planting, pot washing, native plant gardening, and composting with the guidance of nursery staff.
