Back in 2024, our Tamalpais Bee Lab launched a successful community science effort to find a rare, endemic bee that hadn't been seen in almost 50 years. We just wrapped up 2026 season on Mt. Tamalpais learning more about this elusive bee.

Looking back now, Crissy Field feels strikingly ahead of its time. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Crissy Field’s transformation into one of San Francisco’s most beloved public spaces.
