Join Ranger Nate for an hour and a half program that begins with a presentation in the Presidio Visitor Center to gain a basic understanding of the night sky and continues with an outdoor observation session on the Main Parade Ground where we will identify celestial objects.

Led by Doc Miles (Professional Photographer and Park Volunteer Photographer), this class is for those who are ready to take their photography to the next level. You will gain a better understanding of light, composition, and how to create a message with your photographs.

During this program we will focus our efforts on broom, spurge, and other invasive plants along the lagoon’s edges and into some scenic coastal canyons.

In light of the current tragedy in Butte County and poor air quality, we are shifting our Day of Thanks volunteer day and replacing it with Day of Thanks: Camp Fire Donation Drive. At the Mill Valley Community Center we are hosting a mini donation drive for the Camp Fire relief effort and a poster making session to welcome back the Marin County Fire Department.
