Marin Pollinator Workshop

Stemming from the Mt. Tam Science Summit held last fall, Marin Municipal Water District and San Francisco State University have begun inventorying pollinators, primarily bees. This is the first time this part of Marin has ever been surveyed for pollinators. Join us to learn how to collect, clean and prepare specimens. Ages 13 and up. RSVP required as space is limited.

One Tam Event: Wildlife Picture Index Workshop

During this event, we will teach you about the Wildlife Picture Index (WPI) and you will participate in the cataloging and identification of wildlife. By working in this group setting, an electric environment is created as people discover the many different beautiful and amazing wildlife that has been captured on these cameras. This session will be hosted by Marin Municipal Water District, a member of the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative.

We‰ЫЄll share results from the Wildlife Picture Index Project‰ЫЄs first three years‰ЫЄ of data collection, as well as updates on other wildlife studies (such as bats and pollinators) coming out of last years‰ЫЄ Health of Mt. Tam report.
