Create your own plaster casting of amazing botanicals through this fun, easy and rewarding process! The class will begin with a walking tour of the gardens to learn about Alcatraz’s garden history and the work to restore the historic gardens. 

In this class Doc Miles covers all the features of both Apple Photos on your iPhone or desktop and on the Lightroom CC Mobile App. This class will also help the learner understand the basic concepts of Tone, Sharpening, Color Correction, Cropping, and much more. After this class your viewers will say “You shot that on your phone?”

Led by one of our talented park volunteer photographers, this class is for those who have an interest in getting better photographs with their cameras. It is designed to take beginners who are using the “Auto” mode most of the time and want to use the other features to improve their results.

We invite you to join us for a quiet, peaceful and meditative walk through the forests in the Presidio. Let’s experience the beauty and magic of nature in this part of the city, and find ways for calm and balance within and around us.
