Through their roots, over 80% of California native plants have relationships with their underground fungal friends - relationships which are mutually beneficial for the plants and the fungi. At this final Fungus February event, join us to care for the land, tending to 500 native plants that have been newly planted at Lands End, and learn more about the fascinating world of life beneath the soil and how these beings in the natural world work together for their mutual thriving.
This event, like all our stewardship events, is about tending to our human community, too! So come join us to expand your web of human, fungal, and plant relations.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We’ll provide training on how to use all our tools, and are happy to accommodate any access needs. Please reach out to
