Find your path: Accessible Trails in the Bay Area
Access to adventure

The national parks surrounds the bustling, urban setting of Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo. But for a number of folks with disabilities, park trails can be intimidating. Here are some of our recommendations!
From redwood strolls to beach wheelchair access, the Parks Conservancy is making trails more inclusive for all. Discover accessible adventures across Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties—because everyone deserves a path to nature, beauty, and discovery.
Beach Access
Beach wheelchairs are available upon request at Stinson Beach, Muir Beach, Rodeo Beach, East Beach at Crissy Field, and Baker Beach. If you would like to use a beach wheelchair at other sites (such as Ocean Beach and Fort Funston) within Golden Gate National Recreation Area, you may make arrangements to pick up a chair at our headquarters building in Fort Mason.
