The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, in partnership with the National Park Service and the Presidio Trust, hosts a number of community group programs geared toward youth. Programs celebrate the natural and cultural wonders of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and can be customized to meet the needs of your group.

Seaside Senses 
Making sense of the world around you! Experience the Crissy Field Marsh and surrounding areas.

Since 1998, the community has transformed this former military site into a beloved 100-acre parkland. Discover the history of Crissy Field in this engaging introduction to your national park. Depending on the age group, activities can include the following:

  • Games that teach about biodiversity and interconnectedness
  • Native American storytelling
  • Plant identification

Logistics: This program starts at the Crissy Field Plaza and ends at the footbridge that crosses the Crissy Field marsh.
Age Range: Programs can be catered to different age groups. Please specify when making your request.
