Hawk Hill

Restoration at Hawk Hill has helped enhance endangered Mission blue butterfly habitat and prevent further degradation of historic structures by removing non-native invasive trees and restoring the native grassland. The project included new and enhanced trails, visitor amenities and signs, and continued habitat restoration and historic resource protection.

Led by artist Gregory Sale, this project was presented by in partnership with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy as a part of the Art in the Parks program.
