This year marks three decades since the Presidio became a national park site. Over that time, incredible transformations have taken place – from Crissy Field to the Tunnel Tops – thanks to you, our park champions.

Our hope is that youth throughout the Bay Area, especially those from communities underrepresented in national parks, have access to park lands and benefit from the park’s wide range of youth leadership and educational opportunities.

Want to build essential workplace skills, gain meaningful experience, and receive a stipend? Apply to be an intern at the Golden Gate National Parks! Our internship program offers a range of positions. Work sites vary throughout Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo County.

A 6-month internship that welcomes communities to the Presidio Tunnel Tops and an opportunity to gain valuable workforce experience. This paid internship helps connect communities to fun adventures hidden in the park.
