During the autumn months, our teams of volunteer hawk counters identify and tally 19 species of birds of prey, working under the leadership of an experienced dayleader.
The Native Plant Nursery program produces almost 400 species of plants native to the Golden Gate National Parks in our four nurseries to preserve and restore park natural areas.

You’ll get to do hands-on restoration at three park sites: the Oceana Native Plant Nursery, Milagra Ridge, and Mori Point. Restoration activities include planting, transplanting, pot washing, removing invasive plants, and much more.
