While visiting the biodiverse shorelines of the Presidio, you can’t get much closer to the Golden Gate Bridge than at Marshall’s Beach. This rugged stretch of sand and rocks is a favorite destination for photographers. Even clothing-optional sunbathers are known to frequent on warm days.

Crissy Promenade Repairs Slated to Begin in March

For the first time since the Crissy Field Promenade was opened in 2001, the entire 1.5-mile length of the popular pathway will be repaired. Starting in March 2017, the promenade will be closed, section by section, for resurfacing work that will improve its durability and sustainability.
