We help maintain 116 miles of trails and 1,439 historic structures in the parks and create new parks like the recently opened Presidio Tunnel Tops, a welcoming space built by the community, for the community.

In partnership with the National Park Service, local schools, and community organizations, the Parks Conservancy is proud to provide an award-winning suite of hands-on, immersive programs for kids and youth at all grade levels.

The Golden Gate National Parks are notably rich in biological diversity due to the broad spectrum of habitats and unique geology within the parks.

We bring community groups to the parks, bring our Roving Ranger mobile trailhead into the community, and share resources to enable the power of nature, public lands and the history of resistance to inspire and educate.
