Thanks to YOU we are leaving the Golden Gate National Parks better than we found them: Improving trails, building overlooks, and growing plants. And we're engaging the next generation of park stewards through richly rewarding opportunities for young people of all ages. Scroll down to see our wide variety of programs.

Member Event: Golden Gate Raptor Observatory at Hawk Hill
-

Join your member community for a day on Hawk Hill, at the height of raptor season! The GGRO was formed in the early 1980s to track the Golden Gate Migration, an annual flight of tens of thousands of hawks, eagles, falcons, and vultures, birds collectively called "raptors". With the help of over 150 volunteer community scientists each year, we conduct long term studies of the seasonal movements of raptors along the Pacific Coast, to inspire the preservation of California raptor populations. Hear about our work, talk to our scientists, and explore the iconic Hawk Hill!
