Our Work

Completed in May 2010, the Park Trail provides a north-south trail corridor through the Presidio, extending 1.7 miles from the 14th Avenue Gate to Crissy Field.

Within These Walls is an integrated, multi-media contemporary dance project featuring 14 performers and original recorded music, poetry, and video projection that ran for two weeks of September 2017 on Angel Island State Park in the Immigration Station.

The San Francisco Portal is presented in partnership by Shared_Studios, Luminalt, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and the National Park Service as an Art in the Parks endeavor. The Portal is powered by solar, courtesy of Luminalt, a San Francisco-based solar company.

The San Quentin Prison Arts Project, returning for the third time to Alcatraz, will be featuring works by prisoners from the San Quentin State Prison.

The Headlands Center for the Arts provides for multidisciplinary works by artists and creative professions from around the world through programs and community events.

In partnership with the National Park Service and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy through Art in the Parks, the San Quentin Arts in Corrections Program of the William James Association presented Connection Lost: Families Unraveled by Prison, their fourth exhibit on Alcatraz Island.

Community Works West is an organization dedicated to empowering individuals, families and youth affected by incarceration. Through artistic expression Community Works West has been leading restorative justice programs and exhibits for communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
