Art in the Parks works with with a variety of community partners to bring the arts to park settings to provide new ways of experiencing and learning about place.

Touted as San Francisco’s most historic building, the Officers’ Club—once a social hub for U.S. Army officers and their families—has roots that go back to the earliest days of Spanish settlement, in the late 18th century. Now a multifaceted cultural destination, the  Officers’ Club offers free exhibits tracing the Presidio's past and present, free live music and talks, weekend crafts for kids, and school field trips.

'This is your land': Special naturalization ceremony at Crissy Field

In a special ceremony at Crissy Field, 32 young people were honored as new U.S. citizens and the next generation of public lands and public library users. They heard from author Dave Eggers, who said “this country’s greatness depends on you."
