Park Academy Dune Ecology hike at Baker Beach

Park Academy provides professional career preparation for park interns, professional development opportunities for park staff, and personal enrichment for volunteers by providing ongoing learning opportunities. Parks Conservancy members are also invited and encouraged to register for classes of interest.

Classes are scheduled all year round and taught primarily by our knowledgable park staff. A wide array of topics are covered, from how to identify and propagate native plants to how to identify hawks in flight—there is something for everybody in our suite of classes. Hope you can join us soon!

Please note: Park Academy classes are meant as a special perk for volunteers, members, and employees. If you do not work for the Golden Gate National Parks, are not a member, or have not volunteered with us in the past year, a donation is encouraged. Volunteer or become a member today!
