A group from the American Indian Cultural District stands together at the entrance of Muir Woods National Monument

When: Saturday, July 19th, 2025, 11am–4 pm

Where: The Lab on 16th and Capp (bus will leave promptly at 11am) Registration is required.

Join the American Indian Cultural District on a community field trip to Muir Woods, hosted by the Parks Conservancy. Spend time in the company of community and redwoods, learning about redwood ecosystems and ongoing work to support this special place. We will travel to Muir Woods together on a chartered bus from The Lab (16th and Capp), and will share lunch together at the start of our program. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions or mobility support needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

For the last 4 years, this partnership has been guided by intertribal elders and families affiliated with the American Indian Cultural District to build accessible, culturally relevant programming in the GGNRA. It is thanks to their feedback and contributions that we have this special program series. Community members of all backgrounds are welcome to register and attend.
