Come join a Ranger Guided Hike and Birding Program with a Marin Headlands Interpretation Ranger! Learn all about the many different types of birds that call the Marin Headlands home while hiking along the scenic Rodeo Lagoon Loop Trail beginning at Rodeo Beach.
The program will consist of a 1.5-mile hike with multiple stops along the way to observe and learn about our feathered friends. Get tips and tricks on how to spot and identify birds, birdwatch with a ranger, and connect with your national park! Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, layers, and bring your pair of binoculars (if you have them, otherwise we'll have a few extra for sharing)!
Meet at the Rodeo Beach "Information Station" building 1050. Look for a sign that says, "Ranger Guided Hike/Program" and our uniformed Interpretation Park Rangers will be there waiting for you!
Program will begin at 11am sharp.
