Coyote patrolling its territory at Point Reyes

Join us for a walk through the Presidio with Wildlife Ecologist Phoebe Parker-Shames to learn about the Presidio’s wildlife management strategies. On this 1.5-mile hike, you’ll learn about local wildlife like coyotes, birds, and butterflies, and how these animals survive in an urban environment. Phoebe will discuss the ways that the Presidio Trust monitors and manages these animals, and will answer all your burning questions about local wildlife!

Public Transportion and Parking Options:

-Take the PresidiGo Downtown Shuttle, which provides roundtrip service to the Presidio. Pick up the shuttle at the Transbay Terminal or Embarcadero BART.
-Take SF MUNI. MUNI 43 now offers service directly into the Presidio, stopping at the Presidio Transit Center on the Main Post.
